Welcome to AB00K4U. Here, at AB00K4U, I'll be writing reviews, passing on news, and other tidbits on books. I'm not out looking to be the best or biggest book review and news site on the planet, I'm simply here because I enjoy reading and would like to pass my thoughts on, sometimes. How often will I post a review? I have no idea, at this moment. Now, a little about myself.

My name is Randell and I'm from a small city in the state of Louisiana. I make a living as a dealer, I have all of the good stuff, anything from pot to heroin. OK, that's a lie, I'm a poker dealer at one of the local casinos and love my job, really I do.

I am one of the founders of a Blu-ray review site (Project-Blu.com) but left a couple of years ago because I was trying to work three jobs and had very little time on my hands. I have since dropped down to one job and now read more than I watch movies. I dream of writing a novel but have yet to get the motivation to ever go through with it. I'm hoping AB00K4U will be a gateway in helping me complete my dream. I spend a lot of time on Amazon looking for new books and have discovered a lot of new authors in the process. I have read more books this past year by authors I never heard of before, than I have read from mainstream authors. Although, Stephen King is still my favorite.

My favorite books include: the “Harry Potter” series, The Green Mile, It, 11/22/63, N0S4A2, Spilled Milk, Call Me Tuesday (and Cockroach), Memoirs Aren't Fairytales, and The Heroin Diaries, which is the book that kicked off this reading addiction. There are more books I love but there is no need to bore you with a list of a hundred books.

For an explanation of the name, AB00K4U; at the time of it's creation, I was listening to Joe Hill's “N0S4A2” on audio and love the play on the play on the word Nosferatu, so I came up with AB00K4U and, after making the banner at the top, decided to stick with it.
